A system for monitoring multiple lines is provided to enhance image processing speed by executing an image extraction on a lane of an overspeeding vehicle, using an image extracting window. A camera(210) photographs plural lanes. An overspeeding vehicle detecting module(110,120,130) detects an overspeeding vehicle among vehicles in the plural lanes. A camera driving module(150) drives the camera when the overspeeding vehicle is detected. An image extracting module(180) receives the photographed image from the camera, receives a lane of the overspeed vehicle, extracts an image region of the lane of the overspeed vehicle, and extracts a license number image from the image region. The image extracting module further includes an image extracting window. The image region of the lane is the image region selected in the image extracting window. |
