The invention relates to a method for obtaining derivatives of dichalcogenophene-tetrachalcogenofulvalene and to the use thereof, said method comprising a coupling reaction using at least one ketone (III), which may be identical or different, in the presence of a coupling agent (II) in order to produce a derivative having general formula (I). The compound (I) is easily obtained, with a greater yield, fewer reaction by-products and using an environmentally cleaner reaction. The invention is suitable for use in electronics based on plastics or organic materials.
