<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of separating plastic formed bodies easily, accurately, and economically, to provide a recycling method of plastic waste material using the separating method, and to provide a high-grade plastic formed body separated by the separating method. <P>SOLUTION: The method of separating the plastic formed bodies based on the surface hardness, the recycling method of plastic waste material using it, and the separated plastic formed body are provided. The method of separating the plastic formed bodies preferably includes a process of measuring the surface hardness by adding a load to the plastic formed body.
