<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a strain due to heat-treatment by uniformizing the vector of internal stress present in a workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: In a helical gear, and an apparatus and a method for manufacturing the helical gear, in a die 2 applying working to a helical tooth part 11 of the helical gear being the workpiece 1, lands 22 are provided on the predetermined portions in the tooth directions of respective opposed inclined working surfaces 21 to have a distance between opposed working surfaces locally smaller than that of other portions of the opposed working surfaces, and when the workpiece 1 is forged by a punch 3, the surfaces to be worked at both sides of the helical tooth part 11 are ironed by the lands 22, when the helical tooth portions 11 pass through the lands 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
