PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure the distant dimension between a temporary rail and an existing rail and the vertical dimension of the head part top surface of the temporary rail. SOLUTION: This temporary rail measuring apparatus comprises a hollow member 2 placed and locked on the head parts of existing rails 6, 8. The temporary rail measuring apparatus further comprises a horizontal measuring member 3 inserted into the hollow member 2 and having a graduation indicated on the surface thereof.
