PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for stably producing an aromatic copolyamide fiber having a fine single filament fineness and having excellent mechanical properties including tensile strength and initial modulus, at high speed. SOLUTION: The system for producing the aromatic copolyamide fiber includes at least a spinneret 1 via which a spinning dope for making an aromatic copolyamide into filaments is extruded, a first coagulating bath 21 filled with a liquid for coagulating the thus extruded spinning dope with a given air gap apart from the spinneret, a take-up roller 3 for taking up filament yarn resulted from the spinning dope, a second coagulating bath 51 filled with a coagulating liquid to further promote coagulating the filament yarn taken up by the take-up roller 3, filament yarn-conveying means 4ab to convey the filament yarn immersed in the second coagulating bath 51 and traveling through the coagulating liquid while carrying the filament yarn thereon, drawing means for drawing the filament yarn coagulated in the second coagulating bath 51 at a given draw ratio, and water washing means 7 for extracting a solvent left in the drawn filament yarn.
