PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take measures for dusts flowing down (1), to reduce flowing speed by a dust removing tool (2), to make installation easy (3), and to enable uniformity of flowing water to be ensured (4), with respect to a rectangular hydraulic turbine disclosed in Japanese unexamined patent publication No.2003-269318. SOLUTION: (1) As the measures for dusts, the dusts are by passed around the waterwheel. (2) Against the flow speed reduction, the flow rate is increased by setting a ramp. (3) In order to make the installation easy, a system of the present invention is floated in flowing water and then a simple method of using a towing cable from a riverbank or the like is adopted to prevent the system from flowing down. (4) For stabilizing the flow, a current plate is arranged at an upstream side of the hydraulic turbine. Thus, the practicality of the rectangular hydraulic turbine can be improved.
