摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more securely perform feedback control of an air fuel ratio of each of first and second cylinder blocks to a target air fuel ratio, in an internal combustion engine wherein a first exhaust passage connected to the first cylinder block and a second exhaust passage connected to the second cylinder block are communicated with each other by a communication pipe. SOLUTION: This air fuel ratio control system for the internal combustion engine is provided with a first air fuel ratio sensor arranged in a connection part between the first exhaust passage and the communication pipe; a second air fuel ratio sensor arranged in a connection part between the second exhaust passage and the communication pipe; a means for detecting an exhaust gas amount ratio which is a ratio between the amount of exhaust gas flowing inside the first exhaust passage on the downstream side of the connection part with the communication pipe and the amount of exhaust gas flowing inside the second exhaust passage on the downstream side of the connection part with the communication pipe; and a correction coefficient calculating means for calculating a feedback correction coefficient and learning correction coefficient suitable for performing air fuel ratio control of each of the first and second cylinder blocks, based on the air fuel ratios detected by the respective air fuel ratio sensors and the exhaust gas amount ratio.
