An electro-driven braking apparatus using the wedging operation is provided to use the motor using 12V low voltage. An electro-driven braking apparatus using the wedging operation comprises inner and outer pad assays(3,4) arranged at both sides of disc, a wedge caliper(1) consisting of a torque member(2), a motor(5) in which the reducer using the gear ratio is combined, a piston nut(6) converting the torque of the reducer combined in the motor into the linear motive power, a roller(9) type wedge assembly(7) adding the disc pressure to the power energizing operation, an adjusting spring(12) moving the wedge assembly and amending the worn pad in the wear of pad.
