Disclosed is a polymer compound containing a repeating unit derived from a compound represented by formula (1) and a repeating unit derived from an aromatic compound having a specific structure. The polymer compound is useful as a light-emitting material, and enables formation of a polymer electroluminescent device having excellent device characteristics such as life and luminous efficiency.
