The device has an inlet device for receiving smoke obtained using a smoke robot, and a set of smoke analyzing devices arranged downstream to the inlet device, where each of the smoke analyzing devices (56-70) is assigned to each smoke cycle. A distribution device (72) selectively produces a fluid connection between the inlet device and each of the smoke analyzing device, such that smoke of the smoke cycle is supplied only to the respective smoke analyzing device assigned to the smoke cycle. An outlet device outputs the fluid, which is removed downstream from the smoke analyzing devices. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a smoke robot system with a smoke robot having a suction device for sucking smoke (2) a method for analyzing a preset number of smoke cycles.
