PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working machine having an air bearing in which a workpiece is prevented from being cracked by the air leaking from the air bearing for supporting the spindle of the working machine. SOLUTION: This working machine having an air bearing is equipped with: the air bearing 15 rotatably supporting the spindle 11 of the working machine 1 by the compressed air supplied from a compressor; a cutting oil tank 23 for storing the cutting oil supplied to a cutting tool attached to the spindle and the portion of the workpiece 6 to be cut; a temperature control means 26 for controlling the temperature of the cutting oil in the cutting oil tank to a predetermined temperature; a pump 28 for discharging the cutting oil in the cutting oil tank to the portion of the workpiece to be cut; and piping 33 for supplying the compressed air produced by the compressor to the air bearing. A part 33a of the piping is stored in the cutting oil tank and immersed in the cutting oil to control the temperature of the compressed air supplied from the compressor to the air bearing to a predetermined temperature.
