<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split seal ring allowing the easy and quick flush joining of seal faces of a plurality of split bodies in regard to a split seal ring. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The split seal ring 16 comprises two split bodies 30, 31, and the two split bodies 30, 31 are connected to each other by a connector 42. The split seal ring 16 has a taper hole 43 formed across the two split bodies 30, 31 so as to pass abutting surfaces 30a, 31a of the two split bodies 30, 31, a taper pin 44 inserted in a closely contacting state to an inner face of the taper hole 43, and a fixing device 45 fixing the taper pine 44 inserted into the taper hole 43.
