LIQUID DROPLET DISCHARGE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RECORDING IMAGE BY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge device for recording an image excellent in fixability.

SOLUTION: The liquid droplet discharge device has: a selection means for selecting one of multiple kinds of ink; a nozzle for discharging the ink circulated from the selection means; and a liquid supply path for connecting the selection means to the nozzle. A first ink and a second ink of the multiple kinds of ink have substantially the same color, and each of them contains a resin component. The first ink does not contain alkylpolyol having ≥280°C boiling point substantially but the second ink contains the alkylpolyol having ≥280°C boiling point. A relationship between the content [WA] of the resin component in the first ink and that [WB] of the resin component in the second ink satisfies WA>WB. The amount of the first ink to be used when the second ink in the liquid supply path is replaced with the first ink is larger than the amount of the second ink to be used when the first ink in the liquid supply path is replaced with the second ink.
