The present invention discloses a measuring method of cholesterol using an antibody which specifically recognizes a cholesterol binding protein, which is cholesterol dependent cytolysin (CDC), and HDL-C or LDL-C. The method according to the present invention can rapidly measure low density lipoprotein and high density lipoprotein with low cost, thereby being able to be effectively applied to various fields requiring the measurement of the low density lipoprotein and the high density lipoprotein.
