The present invention relates to a communication path control technique, and more specifically, to a network path selection and packet scheduling technique in a multi-homing based transfer technique. The objective of the present invention is to determine the number of packets to be transmitted according to a congestion state of each of multiple network paths to reduce packet loss in a multi-homing based transfer technique. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a packet transmitting apparatus selects a network path to be used for packet transfer based on congestion information which is calculated from state information of respective network paths interfaced with a client, and assigns the number of packets to be transferred and a sequence number of the packet by selected network path. |
