PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater radiation search device as described in JP 2014-071063 where the surroundings of a detector stored in a water-proof and pressure-resistant container are surrounded with a tank represented by a hemispherical shape, the tank is filled with liquid such as water or fuel, and the geometry of the detector is constant, in order to apply an underwater radiation search method utilizing a liquid blocking effect, a polygonal tank is manufactured more easily, and there may be a need for a streamlined tank in order to reduce water resistance during towing.SOLUTION: The shape and the size of a tank are basically determined to achieve a range indicating a blocking effect necessary for analysis, namely, the sum of the blocking effect of a part excluding the bottom surface of a water-proof and pressure-resistant container and the blocking effect of used liquid, and to include a three-dimentional shape obtained by drawing and synthesizing the ball of a radius indicating the liquid blocking effect from the surface of the water-proof and pressure-resistant container. The final shape and the final size of the tank are determined in view of the blocking effects of structures located inside and outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
