PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket capable of reliably maintaining a conduction state between a counter terminal and a terminal and reliably maintaining a connection state with a connection target member having a counter terminal by holding the counter terminal with a contact arm of the terminal and a swelling portion formed on an insertion hole of a housing.SOLUTION: The socket includes: a terminal which comes into contact with a counter terminal of a connection target member; and a housing mounted with the terminal, with which the connection target member is connected. The terminal includes a contact arm for holding the counter terminal. The housing includes: an insertion hole through which the counter terminal can be inserted and to guide the counter terminal to a contact arm of the terminal; and a swelling portion formed on the inner periphery face of the insertion hole to hold the counter terminal. |
