PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a tip region of a master which is wound in a roll shape to a transport passage of the master.SOLUTION: In a master set device 20, when drawing a tip region Ma of a master M which is wound in a roll shape, and setting the tip region Ma in a transport passage H of the master M, master set means comprises: a first guide plate 26 which is arranged along the transport passage H of the master M, and transports and guides the master M to a prescribed direction; a second guide plate 27 which is arranged while opposing the first guide plate 26 with an interval, and transports and guides the master M to a prescribed direction; and a plurality of master set guide members 21 which are arranged at positions facing a plurality of notches 27c which are formed in a curved part 27b of the second guide plate 27, make the tip region Ma of the curled master M progress along the curved part 27b when the tip region Ma of the master M which is drawn to a side immediately before the curved part 27b of the second guide plate 27 is curled, and intrude into a plurality of notches 27c while being pressed toward the first guide plate 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
