PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcurrent protection device that is able to perform an appropriate process according to a factor of overcurrent.SOLUTION: A kitchen remote controller 61 and a bathroom remote controller 62 are connected to an overcurrent protection device 1 via connection terminals 51a,51b,52a,52b of a remote control terminal base 50. A microcomputer 20 keeps a switching element 41 shut off by inhibiting a power supply restoration process if the process of shutting off the switching element 41 again is carried out a predetermined number of times or more due to a situation in which the detection of current of a predetermined level or above by a current detection part 30 continues for a first predetermined time or longer when an overcurrent monitoring process is resumed after the switching element 41 is shut off by an overcurrent monitoring process, followed by restoration of conduction of the switching element 41 by the power supply restoration process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
