The invention concerns the construction of a cooking oven wherein the heat source and the food are separated, thereby avoiding carcinogenic risks in food preparation. The oven consists of an elliptical hearth (1) with two geometrical furnaces, one (7) for receiving the heat source, the other (8) for receiving the food to be cooked. The hearth (1) is topped by a chamber (2) in the shape of an ellipsoid of revolution, delimited by a roof (3). Access to the chamber is provided through an opening limited by an elliptical apron (4), at a few centimetres in front of which, a second elliptical apron (5), provides a slot (6), for the gases to escape; said access is equipped with a door. The VENTURI effect ensures the proper functioning of the furnace, preventing soot from dropping into the chamber. The construction is made with standard refractory materials, i.e. cast iron. The invention is useful for equipping houses, villas and apartments, in which case a reduced-size model is used.
|
