PURPOSE: A flame-retardant polycarbonate resin composition is provided which keeps almost constant glossiness by using barium sulfate having a particle size of 0.5-2.5 micrometer. CONSTITUTION: The resin composition comprises a basic resin consisting of (A) 45-95 pts.wt of thermoplastic polycarbonate resin which does not contain halogen, (B) 5-50 pts.wt of graft copolymer containing rubber-modified styrene and (C) 0-30 pts.wt of styrene-contained copolymer; and, based on 100 pts.wt of the basic resin, 1-20 pts.wt of barium sulfate, 2-20 pts.wt of a P-based flame retardant and 0-2 pts.wt of a flame-retardant adjuvant. The flame retardant is a phosphate ester or mixture thereof, wherein:R1, R2, R4 and R5 are, independently, an C6-C20 aryl not containing halogen or C6-C20 aryl in which 1-3 alkyl are substituted; R3 is arylene; n is 0-5. The resin composition can be useful for thin film housings of electronic and electric products. |
