PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat-seal a wrapping sheet with a surface temperature kept within a predetermined temperature range by measuring the surface temperature of a heat-sealing member of a subdivision-packing machine to control so that the surface temperature is optimum for heat-sealing the wrapping sheet. SOLUTION: The heat-sealer 50 is equipped with a surface temperature detection means for detecting a surface temperature of a heat roller 10, a temperature control means and a detection control circuit 14 associated with both means, so as to measure the surface temperature. Moreover, the surface temperature is kept within a predetermined range to have a subdivision pack sheet 20 heat- sealed. A heat roller pair 10 houses a heat generating source EH inside, and the surface temperature detection means detects and measures the surface temperature while being in contact with a surface of a heat roller 10a wherein a thermistor TH is used. The thermistor TH can obtain an electric signal for a temperature in a correct and highly sensitive manner. Then the thermistor TH is attached on a surface of a heater 12 to apply appropriate pressure so that its thermosensitive part can sense a temperature from a surface of the sheet heater 12 of the heat roller 10a.
