PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealing performance at a part where sealing is difficult by forming a belt-like elastic layer on a constituting plate surrounding an opening hole provided on the constituting plate of a gasket, and covering the elastic layer together with the peripheral constituting plate with a film layer of synthetic resin material harder than the elastic layer. SOLUTION: Seal zone 11 provided around the water holes Hw, the oil holes Ho, the push rod holes Hp (hereafter opening hole H) of the cylinder head gasket of an engine are formed out of belt-like elastic layers 14 surrounding the opening holes H, and a film layer 15 covering the elastic layers 14 and a constituting plate 10. For the elastic layer 14, rubber group material is used and it is formed by spreading into a fixed shape by screen printing. Meanwhile, the film layer 15 is formed having a hardness and thickness of the extent being deformed without breaking down at being pressed. For synthetic resin material harder than the elastic layer 14, comparatively soft synthetic resin material such as epoxy resin, silicone resin, or fluororesin is used.
