PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for high temperature service in which creep deformation in a medium-temperature low-stress region (temperature range of about 450 to 550°C, stress range of about 10 kg/mm<SP>2</SP>or below) is decreased. SOLUTION: The structure for high temperature service can be manufactured by subjecting low-alloy steel containing, by mass, 0.05 to 0.17% C, 1.00 to 2.50% Cr and 0.45 to 1.10% Mo to annealing treatment where the steel is heated to 800 to 1,000°C and cooled down to at least≤600°C at≤10°C/min cooling rate.
