PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide organic polymer particles which is reduced in non-specific adsorption and their production method. SOLUTION: The organic polymer particles contain a styrenic polymer and a copolymer of polymerizable compounds containing methyl methacrylate and trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate, have aρ-toluene sulfonyl group and have a number average particle diameter of 0.1-15μm.
