PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilfer-proof cap and a bottle which suppresses a bridge cutting or strain at a pilfer-proof part at the time of capping, enables a uniform skirt winding work to be carried out, and prevents a poor plug opening from occurring. SOLUTION: A metallic pilfer-proof cap 1 is used for a metallic bottle having an opening diameter of 38 mm. This cap comprises a cap main body upper part 2 having a threaded part fitted to a thread formed at an opening fitting of the bottle, a cap main body lower part 3 provided with a pilfer-proof part engaged with a bulged-out part formed at the opening fitting and a plurality of bridges 5 for connecting the cap main body upper part 2 and the cap main body lower part 3 and arranged and spaced apart to each other along the outer periphery. A plurality of bridges 5 are spaced apart by a space ranging from 7 mm to 12 mm and at the same time at least one of them is a narrow width bridge 5A having a narrow width.
