PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc case which has high functions to protect and hold a disc and has a high crime prevention capability by providing a taking out mechanism at the periphery edge of a disc storing part. SOLUTION: In a disc tray which stores a compact disc (CD) or a digital versatile disc (DVD) and held and is equipped with a disc holding mechanism provided on the center of a storage hollow and a disc release mechanism to release holding, the storage hollow provided in the tray is a circular hollow and the disc release mechanism, with which a holding engagement engaged in the holding mechanism is released to taken out the stored disc outside by pushing up one end of the stored disc from the lower part, is installed on the perimeter of the hollow.
