PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely correct a conveyance error of a DC component in relation to a conveyance method and a recorder. SOLUTION: A first pattern is printed to a medium. A second pattern is printed after the medium is conveyed by rotating a conveyance roller by a rotation amount of smaller than one turn from a rotation position of the conveyance roller at the time of printing of the first pattern. A third pattern is printed after the medium is conveyed by rotating the conveyance roller by a rotation amount of one turn from the rotation position of the conveyance roller at the time of printing of the first pattern. A fourth pattern is printed after the medium is conveyed by rotating the conveyance roller by the rotation amount of one turn from a rotation position of the conveyance roller at the time of printing of the second pattern. A first correction value is calculated on the basis of the first pattern and the third pattern. A second correction value is calculated on the basis of the second pattern and the fourth pattern.
