PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a filling tube created at the time of manufacturing a synthetic resin vessel by a water jet. SOLUTION: The synthetic resin vessel with the synthetic resin filling tube arranged connectingly with its opening is rotatably held in an inverted state, the water jet is jetted to one side of the base part of the filling tube from the horizontal direction, and the synthetic resin vessel is rotated at a constant speed, thereby cutting the filling tube in this opening cutting method for the synthetic resin vessel.
