<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photovoltaic power generation system to dispense with a conductive material dedicated to a light-emitting diode. <P>SOLUTION: A positive electrode 2a and a negative electrode 2b are provided on the rear of each of solar cells 2 and the front thereof, respectively, and the positive and negative electrodes 2a, 2b of the adjacent solar cells 2 are successively connected by a conductive material 4 between the solar cells 2. A cathode of an LED 5 is connected to the positive electrode 2a of each of the solar cells 2, an anode thereof is connected to the negative electrode 2b, and two connection ends 5a, 5b are connected between the positive electrode 2a and the conductive material 4 via a solder etc. Since the voltage of each of the solar cells 2 becomes opposite to that of the LED 5 during power generation of the solar cells 2, the LED 5 works as an insulator and does not emit light. However, when the solar cells 2 do not work at night, since they serve as a high insulator, application of current in a forward direction of the LEDs 5 via the positive electrode 2a of the solar cell 2 and the conductive material 4 causes the LEDs 5 to emit light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
