<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a good special reproduced picture even when there is partial dropout in data for special reproduction upon special reproduction, by interpolating the dropout. <P>SOLUTION: Data for special reproduction configured only by a low frequency component of an image signal which has been divided into a plurality of blocks and encoded for each block are read by an error correction code processing part 404 from a magnetic tape 403 in which the data are recorded. A dummy high frequency component for the data for special reproduction is generated by a data processing part for special reproduction 406 and decoded by adding the generated dummy high frequency component to the data for special reproduction. Even when there is partial dropout of the data for special reproduction, a reproduced picture smoothed so that the dropout part is not conspicuous is acquired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
