<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer virus prevention/removal program whose progress in scanning can be predicted. <P>SOLUTION: The program includes a scanning progress prediction module as well as a virus removal engine and a virus database. The scanning progress prediction module includes two synchronous enumeration modules such as a file scanning enumeration module and a file total amount enumeration module.
