<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a panoramic image by combining photographed images with high accuracy irrespective of frame images and objects of the frame images. <P>SOLUTION: Frame images are selected from a DRAM in a storing order (S201), and a feature amount of the selected frame images is calculated (S202). A block having the calculated feature amount is searched within the next frame image X+1 (S203), and a motion vector is calculated (S204). Extraction width showing the width of a partial image to be extracted is set (S205), and an image is extracted with the extraction width from a center line in the current frame image X (S206). The extracted partial image is combined with an edge part in the opposite direction from a motion vector of a composite panoramic image already prepared, that is, an edge part in the turning direction of an electronic camera to prepare the panoramic image (S207). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
