PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared shielding material particulate dispersion obtained by dispersing tungsten oxide or composite tungsten oxide particulate in a medium which infrared shielding material particulate dispersion is suppressed in color change caused by ultraviolet rays, to provide infrared shielding articles provided by molding the infrared shielding material particulate dispersion to be plate-form, film-form or thinfilm-form. SOLUTION: The infrared shielding material particulate dispersion containing, in a medium, tungsten oxide represented by general formula WyOz and/or composite tungsten oxide particulate represented by general formula MxWyOz and a coloring protection agent, is prepared.
