PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-fed printer capable of conveying/treating sheet at stable attitude, capable of double-side printing and one-side printing. SOLUTION: The sheet-fed double-side printer 1 is provided with a gripper 35 for gripping the printed sheet 9 and moved while passing through a sheet conveying route S; and a sheet guide device 29 having a guide route part K arranged below the sheet conveying route S and arranged approximately parallel to the sheet conveying route S and having an endless belt 57 having wider width than the maximum width of the sheet 9 circulated/driven so as to be moved in the same direction as the gripper 35 at the approximately same speed in the guide route part K. On the sheet guide device 29, an opening part 75 provided on at least one position on a midway of the guide route part K and forming a non-continuous portion of the endless belt 57 and a suction part 59 arranged on the opening part 75 so as to be positioned below the guide route part K and applying suction force having adjustable magnitude to the sheet conveying route S side are provided.
