<p>Methods, devices, and systems have various user equipment (UE) for reading multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) notifications via one or more paging indicators of a Paging Indication Channel (PICH). The paging indicators of the PICH functions as MBMS notification indicators, signaling the relevant UE to read the MBMS point-to-multipoint control channel (MCCH) for MBMS information, and thereby enabling the affected UE to configure themselves to receive the associated multimedia broadcast and/or multicast service.</p> |
