PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a lifting sling for a winding drum capable of lifting a winding drum from light to superheavy although it has a simple structure and not causing risk of dropout even when a hoisting wire is slacked. SOLUTION: This lifting sling 1 for the winding drum is provided with an engagement shaft part 2, a shackle 4, a come-off preventing plate guide means 5, a come-off preventing plate 6, and a shackle rotation regulating means 8. The engagement shaft part 2 is inclined inside of a through hole 22 when the winding drum 20 is lifted, and abuts on and is engaged with an outer opening edge upper portion 22a and an inner opening edge lower portion 22b. The come-off preventing plate guide means 5 supports the come-off preventing plate 6 so that the come-off preventing plate is positioned within the projection area of the engagement shaft part 2 and hung from a lower side with respect to the engagement shaft part 2.
