PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently degas and tightly seal a package produced by a bag making/filling/packaging machine. SOLUTION: A plurality of elastic blocks 38 are moved down by a linear motor 27 from above and press a solid food product in each of a plurality of packaging bodies 30 relative to a plurality of wrapping materials 30 on the second conveyor 25 transported one after another. By the movement 49 of each slider 29 along a guide 26, the blocks 38 are rotated integrally with a spur gear 39 engaged with a rack tooth 40, the packages 30 are rotated by 90°for directionally changing each package 30 from a vertically long condition to a horizontally long condition and then they are transported into a vacuum packaging pressure-proof chamber reciprocally moving with the same speed as the second belt conveyer 65. In this case, the rotary speed of the conveyer 65 is lower than the speed of the taking-out convey 25 and by the difference in speed, the gap between the packages 30 transported on the conveyer 65 becomes smaller for reducing the volume of the chamber and for increasing packaging efficiency.
