<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active material paste production device for secondary battery in which foreign matters of magnetic metal can be captured efficiently without upsizing the device and maintenance is facilitated, and to provide a production method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The active material paste production device comprises a mixing section having a mixing vessel 11 which receives the material of an electrode active material paste, and agitation impellers 12, 13, 14 which mix the material of an electrode active material paste by rotating in the mixing vessel 11 where at least a part of the mixing vessel 11 and the agitation impellers 12, 13, 14 is formed of a magnetic material, a circulation passage 21 provided on the outside of the mixing vessel 11 and communicating, at both ends thereof, with the interior of the mixing vessel 11, a capturing section 23 arranged in the circulation passage 21 and capturing magnetic foreign matters by magnetic force, and a pump 22 which draws the material of an electrode active material paste under mixing from the mixing vessel 11 into the circulation passage 21 and passes the material to the capturing section 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
