<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for elucidating that what component of mushroom extract has a PPARγ activation potency and efficiently extracting an active ingredient. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing an extract containing 5'-deoxy-5'-methylthioadenosine includes: (1) a step of adding water in an amount of 0.5-50 times the mass of mushroom mass to mushroom, grinding the mushroom to give ground mushroom, then heating the ground mushroom to perform sterilization and to partially decompose mushroom tissue and obtaining heated ground mushroom, and (3) a step of heating the heated ground mushroom to 40-121°C to perform hot water extraction and obtaining a mushroom extract. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
