The assembly has a countersunk (14) provided with a base (16) and surrounded by a circular collar (18), where the countersunk receives a connecting flange (30) of a drive motor (12). A transition is formed as an embossing bevel from the base of the countersunk to the collar. The embossing bevel is increased upwardly and is pressurized with axial force by the connecting flange of the drive motor. A compensating groove (26) is provided at the base of the countersunk, where the compensating groove accommodates a displaceable material of an embossing phase (24). An independent claim is also included for a method for deformation technique mounting of a drive motor.
