A control unit for a battery circuit, a charging control unit and an electronic device using the same are provided to reduce the influence of detecting error in order to charge a battery as much as a user desires. A control unit for a battery circuit comprises a voltage detecting part, a battery protective circuit and a charging circuit. The voltage detecting part detects battery voltage. The battery protective circuit stops charging current when the detected battery voltage is greater than protective voltage. The charging circuit changes the charging current when the battery is charged. A method for controlling the battery circuit comprises the following steps of: reading the detected battery voltage through an input interface(S4); determining whether the read battery voltage approaches the predetermined limit of the protective voltage(S5); and limiting the charging current through an output interface(S6). |
