<p>The readout device (10) has an interface (18) i.e. Bluetooth wireless interface, provided for communicating with a mobile telephone (28). A driving map data-request command is inputted from the mobile telephone by the interface using an electrical controller (22). A map reading device (14) reads the driving map data from a driving map (16) of a digital tachograph (12) with respect to the driving map data-request command. The driving map data is sent to the telephone using the interface. An independent claim is also included for a method for reading out data from a digital tachograph.</p> |
