The present relates to a sliding roof mechanism (1), which enables to carry long products exceeding the height of the luggage volume by enabling to open the roof part of loading compartment in commercial vehicles, and enables the materials to be connected to a portable crane from the loading part, essentially comprising at least one roof cover (2) which is placed into the opening made on the vehicle roof (A), at least one motor (3) which enables the roof cover (2) to move on the vehicle roof (A) and parallel to the vehicle roof (A), at least one pulley (4) which has a circular form and is connected to the motor (3) shaft from the center point, at least one wire (5) which is connected to the movable roof (2) from its one end and which is wound around the pulley (4) from its other end, at least one guide rail (6) which is placed on the vehicle roof (A) and which guides to the point where the roof cover (2) will move, at least one connection member (7) which is connected to the wire (5) in the guide rail (6), moves on the guide rail (6) via this wire (5) and which is connected to the roof cover (2), at least one opening (8) which is provided between the guide rail (6) and the connection member (7) and which forms the space required for the connection member (7) to move when a load comes on the connection member (7). |
