The invention refers to a new method for the installation of an external lifting keel, i.e. the design and installation of a mechanism for sailing boat lifting keels. The installation procedure consists of the positioning the frame of the keel with bolts on the external part of the hull so that the bolts on the frame are aligned with the bores in the hull; after that, mounting plates or supporting profiles are attached to these bolts and tightened with nuts. |
