PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce energy for adjusting a temperature of equipment mounted on a spacecraft.SOLUTION: A spacecraft includes: a component 3 with equipment for executing missions; a spacecraft body 2 having a mounting surface 5 for supporting the component 3; and a contact area changing mechanism 7 for changing contact area of a region, in which a shell 6 of the component 3 is brought into contact with the mounting surface 5, so as to change the amount of heat to be transmitted from the component 3 to the spacecraft body 2 per unit time. The spacecraft 1 can reduce the energy for maintaining the temperature of the equipment within a predetermined temperature range by using the contact area changing mechanism 7 to change the contact area. |
