a support base to support an animal standing on its legs; a moveable x-ray source disposed within a source housing and mechanically attached to the support base; and a digital radiographic detector mechanically attached to the support base, wherein the source housing and the detector extend upward substantially perpendicular to, and above, a top surface of the support base, and wherein the x-ray source and the detector are configured to capture a radiographic image of at least one of the legs of the animal. |
