Provided is a film roll packaging body which is less likely to cause deformation of a paper box due to dew condensation in a container, and is further less likely to cause deformation of a winding core, which may be caused by reduction of the paper core strength of the roll due to absorbed moisture, shock during transportation, or the like. The film roll packaging body for transportation is configured by: a film roll (2) that is formed by winding a plastic film around a paper core (1); a paper box (11) that contains the film roll (2) and is placed on a pallet (9); plastic films or sheets (10) that are laid over and under the paper box (11) and that are larger than the lateral and longitudinal sizes of the paper box (11) and each have a thickness of 5-500 μm; and a stretch film (12) that are wound around the paper box (11) and the side surfaces of the pallet so as to cover 20-90% of the pallet height, and that fastens the paper box to the pallet (9).
