Provided are a method and a device for controlling a screen of a mobile terminal, for solving the problems that inconvenient one-hand holding and controlling of current mobile terminal easily leads to unintended operations and bad user experience, and cannot satisfy the user requirement for convenient and efficient operations. The method includes: receiving a controlling signal generated by operating an operation element arranged in a set position of the mobile terminal; transforming the controlling signal into a screen controlling event of the mobile terminal; and performing a controlling operation indicated by the screen controlling event on the mobile terminal screen responding to the screen controlling event. The invention enables the control of the mobile terminal screen to be more convenient and efficient so that misoperation can be avoided and the user experience can be improved in the case of a user holding and controlling the mobile terminal with a large-size screen in one hand. |
